Christmas with Kids - Where to in 2019?
With just 37 days until Christmas, members of the Junior Frequent Flyer crew control tower have been debating our top three destinations for Christmas with the kids. Some of us love a winter wonderland, others are in search of tropical Santa. If your family will be roaming free over the Holidays and are yet to book your trip... here's our top three picks for 2019:
1. New York, baby!
What's not to love about Christmas in New York. Rockefeller square, decorative stores in the holiday spirit, gingerbread-flavoured goodies and the real buzz of Christmas.
Here's what's on our wishlist for a New York Christmas:
- A visit to the LuminoCity Festival
- Spend the afternoon at Macy's Santaland
- Visit the iconic toystore - FAO Schwarz
- Watch the Christmas Spectacular with the Radio City Rockettes
2. Joyeux Noel! A 'Tradish Chrish' in Alsace, France
The true magic of Christmas is sure to come alive in Alsace, France. If you love the idea of a traditional Christmas, set in a village type atmosphere with Cathedrals lining the streets and a feeling of calm - this may be the place for you to celebrate Christmas. Think wooden chalets, traditional gingerbread, scrumptious pretzels and decorative lights.

If heavy jackets and winter woollies are not your idea of Christmas - Hawaii is the perfect go-to destination. Hawaii caters to most families, from the active adventurers to the low-key chillaxers. You can spend your days trekking, standup paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, whale watching and more. In terms of where to stay with kids, our picks are:
